NPSC® Struvite Crystallization for Nitrogen and Phosphorus Removal | Water Healer

Solving the Challenges of Compliant Treatment and Resource Recovery for Phosphorus- and Nitrogen-Containing Wastewater (NPSC®)

Guided by the principles of reduction, resource recovery and recycling, Water Healer develops high-efficiency technologies and innovative equipment for the resource utilization of waste gas, waste liquid and solid waste across the entire process chain of the photovoltaic, chip, baijiu (Chinese liquor) and municipal sectors.

NPSC® Technology

Nitrogen and Phosphorus Removal Process by Struvite Crystallization · Struvite Crystallization for Nitrogen and Phosphorus Removal

Solving the challenges of compliant treatment and resource recovery for phosphorus- and fluorine-containing wastewater.

≥99% Struvite Purity
0.9–4.5 mm Struvite Particle Size
PO₄³⁻ ≥80% · NH₄⁺ ≥40% Simultaneous Nitrogen and Phosphorus Removal
High Recovery Rate · Green Circulation Treating Waste with Waste · Synergistic Resource Recovery

Reactor Configuration Innovation

  • Induced crystallization coupled with granulation and sedimentation, delivering a high nucleation rate.
  • Product grading and screening, with controllable and adjustable particle size and low moisture content.

Operation Mode Innovation

  • Treating waste with waste to maximize the value recovered from waste.

Sludge Resource Recovery

Fluoride-Containing Wastewater Treatment generates large volumes of fluoride-containing sludge. Its poor quality prevents effective utilization, causing both resource waste and environmental risk.
Through innovation in operation and maintenance (O&M), Water Healer extracts synthetic fluorite powder from this sludge, maximizing the value recovered from waste and protecting non-renewable fluorite reserves.

Sources of Calcium Fluoride Sludge

Source Enterprise Type → Collection and Classification of Calcium Fluoride Sludge → Quality Classification: "Making the Best Use of Everything"

Photovoltaic, semiconductor and integrated circuit manufacturing → Calcium fluoride sludge (from crystallization precipitation of fluoride-containing wastewater) → High-quality calcium fluoride sludge → Hydrofluoric acid.

Inorganic and organic fluorochemical industry → Calcium fluoride sludge (from crystallization precipitation of fluoride-containing wastewater) → Medium-quality calcium fluoride sludge → Fluorite pellets.

Specialty glass such as touch screens and LCD panels → Calcium fluoride sludge (from crystallization precipitation of fluoride-containing wastewater) → Low-quality calcium fluoride sludge → Building materials and plastics.
