Conventional Production Process
In the conventional anhydrous hydrofluoric acid production process, concentrated sulfuric acid and mineral fluorite powder are reacted in a rotary kiln with a diameter of 2.5–3.5 m. Conventional equipment cannot use synthetic fluorite powder to produce anhydrous hydrofluoric acid.
Specialized Equipment Production Process
Compared with conventional anhydrous hydrofluoric acid production facilities, the use of specialized equipment and processes for synthetic fluorite offers significant advantages:
-
Wider fluorite particle size range: 100–800 mesh
-
Larger anhydrous HF production facility scale: 45,000 t/a per production line
-
Lower density of recovered powder: bulk density < 0.9 mg/m³
